As usual, with the Thanksgiving holiday, all of the Clerks Offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov 25th and 26th. Additionally, most of the Clerks Offices will close at noon on Wednesday, Nov 24th.
Accordingly, any closing that needs to occur before Thanksgiving week needs to happen on Monday or Tuesday (Nov 22nd & 23rd). It will be extremely hard to try to close and record entirely on Wednesday, Nov 24th before noon.
Furthermore, any refinances, which require the three day rescission period, should be signed on or before Nov 18th if they need to disburse before Thanksgiving. If the refinance needs to be disbursed before the end of November, then it would be ok to sign the refinance documents on Nov 22nd—24th in order to disburse in November.
